Hi! My name is Sania, and I have just graduated 8th grade from Las Flores Middle School, and am going to be a freshman at Tesoro High School in the fall. I am an all Honors student in school, and I have completed Math 7 accelerated in 6th grade, Algebra 1 in 7th grade, Geometry in 8th grade, and I am looking forward to taking Honors Algebra 2/Trigonometry in my freshman year, along with Honors Biology, Honors English, Spanish 2, and AP Computer Science. I have also won my school spelling bee, which was out of almost 1000 students, and represented my school in the district spelling bee 3 years in a row. My goal with this organization is to use my time over the summer, along with my partner, Suki Chandok, to give extra support to young students, from grades K-7, with Creative Writing, Math, Speech and Debate, and an Introduction to Spanish. I realize that many parents are busy with work and do not have the time to devote to their children to give them the academic help they need, and I would like to be a resource that will give their child the support they need for the upcoming school year. Suki and I feel that since there is a smaller age gap between us and the students we tutor, we will have a closer connection with the students, and they will feel more comfortable to ask us questions, and just be around us in general, which will result in a better learning experience for them.
Doing this, Suki and I also would like to do what we can to play a part in supporting underprivilged kid's education. We are willing to devote our time to assisting your children for a nominal fee of $10 an hour, and half our money will go to support our foundation and to pay our other tutors, and half will go to an underprivileged children's foundation.
Hey everyone! I am Suki Chandok. Here's a little bit about me. I went to Wagon Wheel elementary. I have just graduated from Las Flores Middle School. I will be attending my first year at Tesoro High School in the fall. I am an honor roll student with experience in an accelerated math class, I've attended the Russian School of Mathematics, and I've been in many leadership electives in elementary and middle school. I'm looking forward to taking Honors English and Honors World History in my freshman year. I also am an older sister to my 8 year old brother in 3rd grade, so I've attained experience in tutoring my younger brother over the years.
I truly believe that knowledge is power, and attaining a strong academic foundation is the stepping stone to sucess. So I've decided to use my free time this summer, along with Sania, to help younger students improve their understanding of school subjects. I like our idea of doing a nonprofit organization because I believe a small act of kindness can change the world. At a time like this, it is the perfect time to move forward, step by step. Sania and I plan on raising our funds from online tutoring sessions, and half the money will go to our organization, and half will go to a local underpriviliged kids foundation.
One tutoring session can cover one of the subjects listed below. Each session is one hour long for $10.

TUTORING SESSION INFORMATION
In each tutoring session, your child will need a computer/laptop, and we will need their focus and attention.
We plan to make these tutoring sessions not only a way to improve your child's knowledge, but to also make learning fun for them!
We will conduct the sessions over a google meet call. In the 1 hour session, the first 20 minutes we will teach a lesson, then we will do a 25 minute worksheet or assessment based on the lesson, and finally for the last 15 minutes we will play a fun review game on kahoot or a different platform, where students can earn lesson points.
